CONFERENCE THEME

The NASMA Annual Conference will be taking place 1st – 3rd July 2024 in Cardiff and we are excited to announce that this year’s theme is Change with Resilience.

Recognising that our sector is changing in a number of ways, our vibrant 3-day event will provide numerous opportunities to learn more about the changes impacting student money advisers, and how to cope with the changing climate of the student funding sector in the UK.

Whether it’s the Lifelong Learning Entitlement, the challenges caused by the continued shortfall in statutory student funding packages, pressures on hardship funds, or the increased expectations of students, we’ll have sessions, panels, keynote speakers and discussion zones for you to take part in.

CALL FOR SESSION PROPOSALS

We are looking for input that stimulates discussion, shares good practice, and inspires delegates to reflect on their own practice. For example, you may have an inspiring success story to tell, you may wish to share how collaboration with other teams (internal or external) allowed you to overcome a challenge, or you may have developed initiatives with other teams (internal or external) that others could learn from.

Your participation shapes the conference agenda and ensures our event is inspiring, valuable, and encouraging. Being part of the conference agenda is also an excellent development opportunity that can raise your professional profile and help you develop new networks with sector colleagues.

There are lots of ways to get involved, and if you want to discuss an idea before submitting a proposal, we’d be more than happy to hear from you.

If your proposal becomes part of the conference schedule, and you are a NASMA member also planning on joining us for the conference, you will benefit from a 25% member discount on your chosen conference package.

To submit a proposal please download this form. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact office@nasma.org.uk
