NASMA Memberships

The NASMA Membership year runs from 1st September to 31st August and you can join at any point during the year, although there is no pro-rata reduction in membership fee for joining partway through the year.

NASMA offers different categories of membership.

When you are ready to join NASMA, please select the package below.

Individual Membership - Single member

£150.00/pa

Educational Membership - 3 Members

£405.00/pa

Educational Membership - 5 Members

Associate Membership Application

If you do not work within a higher or further education institution but would still like to apply for a NASMA Associate Membership – please apply using the green button and fill out the following enquiry form. For more information about the process read the description below.

Apply for a NASMA Associate Membership

Individual Membership

Available for Student Money Advisers, or those whose remit includes money advice in a University or College of Higher Education, Students’ Union, Guild or Association or Further Education College, whose remit includes money advice and/or discretionary fund administration.

An Individual Member is someone:

  • who votes
  • can stand for elected office
  • has access to the NASMA JISCMail support network (one account)
  • has access to the subscriber’s area of the website (one account)
  • can apply for Accredited Membership status
  • has access to conference/training at membership rates

Educational Membership

Available for University or College of Higher Education, Students’ Union, Guild or Association or Further Education College, whose remit includes money advice and/or discretionary fund administration.

Educational Membership entitles the institution to:

  • identify a lead contact
  • identify a set number of named individuals, through the lead contact to represent the institution
  • and transfer the named membership to another individual at no additional cost, and as advised by the lead contact. Accredited status cannot be transferred to another individual

Educational membership offers the same benefits as the individual membership but brings group membership discount of 4 levels dependant on group size.

Associate Membership

Associate Membership is available to those not working in roles eligible for full Individual membership. If you feel that NASMA Membership would be of benefit to you, but do not qualify for Individual Membership, please email the NASMA Office at:  office@nasma.org.uk providing a statement of the contribution that you are able to make to NASMA.

Associate Members are eligible for the same membership benefits as Individual Ordinary and Educational members, with the exception of mail-base access. Associate members are not eligible to stand for elected office on the NASMA Board.

Applications for Associate Membership are conferred at the discretion of the NASMA Board.
