This one-hour session will give professionals the essential knowledge and understanding of Blockchain Technology, Cryptocurrency and NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens), the risks that surround them and where to signpost those affected.
By the end of the session, you will:
- Have increased knowledge and understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency and NFTs.
- Understand the appeal of cryptocurrency and NFT trading amongst the student population.
- Understand the risks involved with cryptocurrency and NFT trading.
- Know where to signpost those experiencing harm, and what universities can do to provide support.

- Cryptocurrency, NFT’s and their appeal to young people.
- Statistics on cryptocurrency investment.
- The influences of cryptocurrency investment.
- Where to find help/support.

Space is limited as we want to keep the numbers of participants at a level conducive to an effective discussion, so please book quickly to avoid disappointment. There are two different sessions to choose from. If more than one member of your team wishes to attend, we recommend attending different sessions to benefit more fully from the varied discussion we expect.

The Understanding Universal Credit (UC) for Students course is an intermediate level course and requires a good understanding of the UC system and its place within the benefits field.
The course covers the complex legislation surrounding disabled students, how to calculate student income for UC claimants, and how to challenge adverse UC decisions.

Quality Conversations is an interactive, online seminar giving you the confidence to develop new approaches to some of the sensitive and often difficult conversations you have, in the service we provide to our students.
The session will explore how to:
• Manage ‘difficult’ conversations with empathy and understanding
• Frame bad news and deliver difficult messages
• Manage a range of emotions
• Use questions to explore solutions and better outcomes
• Use active listening and demonstrate empathy
