Annual Conference 2021

We are delighted to announce that NASMA's Annual Conference is back!  After the pandemic forced us to cancel last year's event, we are looking forward more than ever to another highly successful NASMA conference.  Conference 2021 will be our first ever wholly-virtual event and to offer delegates more flexibility and the option to attend a greater number of sessions, we have replaced the previous 2-day format and spread Conference 2021 across four days - from Monday 21st to Thursday 24th June.  We have worked hard to reflect your comments in both the style and format of the 4-day event and hope you will be delighted with the range of diverse, engaging and professional workshops on offer, as well as some interesting keynote sessions.  We hope Conference 2021 provides the ideal opportunity for you to update your skills and knowledge, network, share good practice with other sector professionals and ultimately be a highly beneficial and enjoyable experience - all from the comfort of your home or office. We look forward to seeing you there.

Delegate Fees and Conference Packages

We believe that Conference 2021 offers excellent value for money.  We have kept the fee-structure simple and are offering just two options this year:

Full 4-day Package

1-day Package (any day)

Members:   £150

Members:  £60

Non-Members:   £250

Non-Members:  £100

Conference Schedule

Please see the Conference Schedule below which lists the sessions available across all four days.  There are 24 workshops in total and a choice from two sessions per timeslot.  A short session description can be found when you click on the workshop title and this will assist you in making your choices.  Once you have decided on the sessions you wish to take, you can book via our conference booking form (coming soon).  All workshops will be allocated on a first-booked, first-served basis.  Please note that some workshops may carry a limited number of spaces and we strongly urge you to book as early as possible to avoid disappointment.  It will not be possible for us to provide additional sessions of the most popular workshops. The NASMA Annual General Meeting (AGM) is scheduled from 09:30-10:30 on Wednesday 23rd June.  All NASMA members are invited and welcome to attend.  Log-in details for the AGM will be available to members prior to the meeting.

Cancellations

We understand that things happen and sometimes you have to cancel an event.  If you need to cancel your place at Conference 2021 please let us know as soon as possible.  Fees will only be refunded in full where notification that a delegate wishes to cancel his/her place is provided in writing 30 days before the event.  If payment has already been received then NASMA will refund the fee in full, less an administration charge of £25.

For cancellations between 30 calendar days and 14 calendar days prior to the conference taking place, refunds will be offered at 50% of the delegate fee. 

For cancellations within 14 calendar days of the conference taking place, no refund will be given.

No fee will be charged for any substitution made more than 30 calendar days before the event, subject to the attendee falling into the same membership category as the original booking.  A charge of £25 will be made for any substitutions made between 30 calendar days and 14 calendar days before the event.  Due to the late notice of this transfer, it is likely that substitutions will normally have to attend the exact same workshops as assigned to the person they are replacing.  Substitutions will not normally be permitted within the 14 calendar days before the event.
