Applying for Funding 2011

Despite what you might have heard, it's not too late to apply for loans and grants for studying in 2011-12.

Sure, you won't have the money for the start of term if you are applying now, but that shouldn't stop you from applying if you need support. The longer you leave submitting your application the longer it will be before you can get support with paying your tuition fees and receive payments in to your bank account for living costs.

To apply you will need to go through the relevant agency depending on where you live. This is where you were a resident before you started university. So if you are from Scotland but are studying in Wales you will apply to the funding agency in Scotland.
